Wardrobe Essentials: Classics & Staples for 2023

Nike Sportswear Essential Tracksuit

Tracksuits are perfect for casual days, whether you’re spending it at home or out and about, and a black tracksuit is such a simple classic to have. I really like the Nike tracksuit as i think the fit is really nice, it’s oversized but not too much that it drowns you. It’s a comfortable, breathable material that you can wear all day; and it’s a buildable outfit so you can wear it pretty much throughout the year. 

H&M Oversized Denim Jacket 

A denim jacket is a good classic to have in your wardrobe, not only is is a versatile piece, it can be worn throughout the year. My favourite time to wear it is during the autumn months as it’s a great jacket to keep you warm for the chilling evenings but not too hot during the day. The H&M denim jacket is that nice oversized fit that is suitable for both tall and petite girls. They also have them in various colours which is a good variety.

Leggings are a necessity in every wardrobe, they’re a good casual piece that you can wearing casually and dress up for smart casual looks too. The Prettylittlething seamless contour leggings are a staple for me, I have them in multiple colours and wear them all the time. Typically I’d pair them with an oversized hoodie, ankle socks and chunky trainers or a cropped vest top and a checked shirt. 

ASOS Canvas Tote Bag

Tote bags are super popular at the moment, but not only that they are a very practical bag to own. Personally I think a tote is a wardrobe essential, you’re always going to need a bag of a good size that you can use in day to day life. This tote bag is the bag I reach for the most as it’s a great bag to hold everything I need whilst still looking stylish.

Mom jeans are a wardrobe staple, apart from them being a super versatile piece, they’re a comfortable and flattering style of jean. For me the Prettylittlething mom jeans are an absolute favourite. I like that there are multiple different colours and washes as it means there’s a style to suit everyone as they’re a good length on me which, for a someone who’s petite, is a struggle when it comes to jeans. 

H&M Cropped Top

These tops are good basics to have in your wardrobe, they’re the tops I reach for the most. They’re super comfortable, they sit at a nice length not too cropped and not too long and they’re so simple to style. My go to outfit with these are either a pair of mom jeans and my Nike Jordan’s or a pair of joggers and my converse high tops. 

Nike White Dunk Lows 

An all white pair of trainers is always a good option to have as they are an easy shoe to style and they can be worn in so many occasions. For me the Nike Dunks are a good option, they’re a comfortable shoe so are great for long days; and they look really stylish. I also like that they look slightly different to Nike Air Force 1s, but still are easy to wear just like Air Force 1s are.
